Well if you didn't get it tuned for the intake you could potentially be running lean.

Do you have a tuner or did u just install the CAI without tuning? Someone chime in if im wrong but I believe that intake requires you to tune your car for it. If you didnt tune your car for it I would either purchase a tuner and tune your car for the intake or uninstall it and reset the CEL using an obd2 scanner/code reader. They should have one at a local auto parts store that will read and reset the CEL. I know autozone where I live used to have them.

I believe a Steeda cai needs to be tuned. If so, that's most likely the issue with your check engine light.

You can use any tuner out there I recommend bama and when you write the tune tell them everything that's modded to your car so they can specifically tune it for the steeda and anything else.

I found one sct tuner for less than 350 the user don't know how to use it and say its complicated ...I don't have a clue on how to use it. But I know some friends who do.

Sounds good to me if it's one you can get free tunes for life that's awesome if not you'll have to pay to retune it so you can use it on you car and NEVER EVER USE A TUNE THAT'S BEEN TUNED FOR ANOTHER CAR!! Retune that little handheld then tune your car. This is my warning don't take it lightly

Also every mod you out or take off your car you need to write a new tune for that specific car. Or you will lose power and not gain as much as you can.

Yes, the GT Cold Air Intake requires a tune.

If you can buy a used tuner, and it is unmarried, that is your best bet. If you would like us to write a tune for you then it will run you $99.00.

Let me know if I can help you with that. You can reach me at tim @ steeda.com

Best Regards,

TJ
