Mods for 14 GT your thoughts

My 14 is a daily driver. Was considering the following and wondering about daily driveability.

It's automatic

3:73 gears
Bama 87 octane tune
CAI system

How do you compensate the speedometer for 3:73 gears.

You can adjust the gear ratio with a handheld tuner. And i actually gained 2mpg's on 93 performance tune with 3.73 gears doing just gentle city miles!

The tune does that for you. Do you really run 87octane in your 5.0?

That is nice to hear! I am planning on getting 3.73 or 4.10. When you went from stock to 3.73, was it night and day different?

With both a tuner and gears yes it felt much faster. I would have went 4.10's but i went 3.73's because I plan on supercharging and i didnt want it to be to much.

That's a great list of mods! I have those 3 items in my 2011 GT that I daily drive and have absolutely no complaints. I get 19MPG City and I don't drive it in hopes to get good Gas mileage!

Like these guys said, we can adjust your speedometer within the tune! Let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!
