Spare anyone???

Sooooo, I just happen to go check my spare tire and found that I do not have one. I do however have a factory air compressor that came with my ride. Guess it is my fault for not checking when I bought the car. For Sh*** and giggles I am going to contact seller and ask if they knew it was not there.

Anyways, I will be needing another spare. Would the stealership have factory spares or should I just look somewhere else? Thanks.

You're car have the brembo package? They don't come with a spare as it wouldn't clear the front brakes.

Yes, it does have brake package. Thanks for the input. Hmmmmm really fond of being prepared. Kind of an OCD thing for me.

the compressor is a two step process as it has the fix a flat stuff in it as part of the compressor. check out the owners manual and it shows how to do it. it may also have simple instructions on the compressor itself.

Just think, no spare sitting in the back is weight off the car.

The compressor comes with a selector switch allows you to use just the air or air and fix a flat combined. I have had to use compressor (air only) once to get me to the local tire shop. If you can avoid using the fix a flat crap please do so. That stuff will screw up the TPMS sensors inside your wheels. I personally carry a set of tire plugs (Auto Zone 10 bucks) just in case i really need to plug the hole.
