Boss intake, Steeda cai, SVT Tune

Ok guys don't have the time to look at old threads, my 2013 GT is at the shop right now as we speak, Put on a Boss Intake, Steeda CAI, SVT tune 93 octane. The car put out 373 hp stock, we just ran the car 5 times on the dyno and its making the same power as an automatic, and mine is a 6 speed? It's now at 420 hp but they are going to let it cool, because it should make more from past installs they have done. What do you guys think it should be?

I think 420 sounds about right.

What's an SVT tune? Do you mean the Pro Cal? If so there's your problem. You cannot run the Steeda or Boss intake with that tune.

American muscle claims up to 60 hp. Which your not going to get the up to claims. But what I don't get is the boss mani is up to 58 and a tune only gets you 2. Idk where they are coming from by that. You gained 28 hp. Which isn't bad. But maybe a more aggressive tune will help a lot. And an off road x pipe. Let us know how it goes.

I just talked to Greg from American Muscle, real nice guy,, He said the numbers are about right, the tune should be about 30 HP, the Boss intake moves the power up the rpm range to 7800 where the stock intake is only good until 6500 to 6700 rpms, He also said the next power numbers will come from long tubes and an x pipe around 30 more HP. We have the RPM's set for 7400 RPM's

I just went out and picked up the car, It really runs well! pulls like a bear up to 7400! the sound of the CAI was something to get used too at first. I told them I was now going to order a set of Kooks long tubes, with x pipe and get that other 25 to 30 HP and thats it for me and the car. Mine is a 331 gear car and I got on the interstate in going home and the 1st two gears are really something, don't need any tickets and don't need to break the law but I would love to go somewhere to run this thing out in 4th and 5th.
