Breaks!! Need help

Ok guys so my car just rolled over 40k miles and im starting to here my breaks. I'd like some opinions on what y'all have done do the stock breaks do well for y'all or is this the time to upgrade?

The pads eventually need replacing. Rotors at 60-70k. Replace them. Problem solved.

With heavy abuse and aggressive pads my rotors where gone at 9k miles and will be replacing them soon now at 16k miles.

Just stick with OE replacement pads and have the rotors looked at. That is unless u plan on adding a heck of a lot more power anytime soon. If not, no need to upgrade. Just replace.

I "here" you need a break. Well, here's some help. I assume you are talking standard GT brakes not Brembo. If so, on road, I'd choose Raybestos Pro grade. I've used those in lots of vehicles for road duty and zero problems. Well worth the slight premium over the cheap stuff.

Check the rotor for runout a little and make sure they aren't deeply scarred or anything. They are cheap enough to replace if there is even a hint they are out of spec.
