Locking lug nuts

So I was filling vibration when I took left turns and my car would shake come to find out someone tried to steal my rims and tires in this sketchy place I used to live... Good thing for locking lug nuts. They got all of them off and just couldn't get the Locking one off. Lol so I put the factory ones back in the missing spots and went on my way... I don't buy cheap it's American!

I'm using McGard. I have them on an 08 Frontier and an 11 GT.

I just got then on Merican muscle the acorn black ones. There is a set of 20 reg nuts a d then to the right of them there is a set of four locking nuts with a key! Well worth it cause I have the cf1 rims and sumitomo htrz tires.

my suggestion is to get a set of 24 (I have Gorilla scored on Amazon) this gives you one for each lug and extra's if you loose one. It was only a couple of $ for 24 over the 20 lugs. I like the design of Gorrila compared to Mcgard from a mechanics standpoint, the key looks stronger. Get an extra key B4 you need it. Locks do not prevent the professional thieves but the will stop the amateurs.

OP, where you used to live? How long were you driving with 1 lug?

My 13 GT Prem came with locking lug nuts. I found that out on Saturday when I arrived at the shop to have my rear tire looked at. I was pretty excited.

Any time I put rims on a car I grab a set of the Gorilla 20-locking lugnut sets. I want them to work for them if they're just gonna steal the wheels. Nowadays though they're more likely to steal the vehicle and then take what they want.

I got the six spline locking lugnuts from AM. We're like $20 after the discount I believe.
