We found that the SCT, in our opinion, is a better platform for tuning.

I already have the Sct tuner so would the lifetime tunes be 150.00? That's my understanding!

Now that Steeda has free tunes for life this could get real interesting for competitor tuning. You always hear great and amazing things about Steeda tuning and how more powerful the tunes are than say a more conservative AM. While AM has a very good reputation for making a good quality tune, there free tunes for life program really took the cake from a financial standpoint. Now that Steeda is doing somethibg similar I wonder if AM is gonna step up and make the tunes more powerful or continue on with the more conservative side?

This is correct. However, now that might increase more issues or problems from both companies due to trying to get the most from what you have. Only time will tell. Great to see the competition.

It looks like Bama still has Steeda beat as far as price though.

Price is $150 ... seems to be on par with the competition.

We have an experienced team and you will have 0 issues with your tune modifications. We will make sure they are spot on. If they are not dialed in the first time then some data logging will do the trick.

Best Regards,
TJ

Because Ford Will VOID Your Warranty Instanly
when they run a dianostic test on your hardrive, if the car ever goes into service

Even Ford Racing's Power Pak tune must be accompied by a seperate warranty to cover any engine related damage, due to the tune $$

I just wanna see if something's gonna break chances are that if something's gonna break its gonna be during the bumper to bumper warranty. before the real modding begins I'm gonna do compression test and leak just to see if the motor is healthy. Learned the hard way before

Do not run a lope tune as a daily driver. We know Bama is good and safe. But I talked to one of the Bama reps and he told me he does not recommend running a lope tune all the time. I'm sure steeda would be on page about the lope tune.

A failure from a tune, particularly our tunes is extremely rare. The tunes we send out are the same tunes used in our Steeda serialized vehicles sold through Ford dealers. Vehicles that are backed by a warranty, hence need to have a tune that is not going to cause us warranty issues.

Should an engine failure occur, we would work with the Ford dealer for proper diagnostics, this would include not only traditional diagnostics but things such as fuel octane testing and other techniques to fully determine the cause of failure.

Should it be determined that indeed the tuning was the cause of the engine failure and not abuse, over revving, improper fuel octane, etc, then we would work with the customer on resolving the failure.

Best Regards,

TJ

Heck yeah. I would love to see how the Steeda tune compares to my bama hybrid and MPT tune. Always hear good things about Steeda tunes. Then get my pony dyno three times using each tune. Steeda, mpt and bama. All same octane level, same car and same mods. Which tune will make the most HP and torque gains? Lol

Has me considering a tune now. Finally a company that help a guy out when Ford denies a claim, without the expense of a lawyer.

Yes, you would provide the sales representative with the following information:

Year
Model
Engine
PCM code or strategy
All engine modifications
Fuel octane
Gear ratio if different from stock
Tuner serial number (if email tune)

If you order online, then a sales representative will contact you to get the above information.

Best Regards,

TJ
