Well, I've had my 5.0 for just under a month, had a lot of guys look at it and really like it, 1 guy wanted to race(other than people in school that I would easily beat), Red Camaro SS, vs my Red Candy 2013 GT, I beat him. He has an automatic... what Camaro SS drivers usually don't know is that they lose 26 HP going from manual to Auto, from 426 HP, to 400 HP, and GT's don't lose any. That's probably gonna be my only race, except for drag strips.

The auto SS has 425hp. The MT SS does have 426hp like you stated.

Don't ever underestimate other cars if you don't know what they have done to them or what they will do bone stock. You would never think a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 could ever mess with a 5.0, but bone stock, they have the same 0-60 times. I have a buddy that has one that looks like nothing special, yet his JGC can crap on most 5.0's which would be embarrassing being out run by an SUV.

I don't underestimate other cars, I knew that I might lose, but it was a good race, ended up winning, so I was happy.

The stock 1/4 mile of the SRT8 Jeep is 13.1... 5.0 is 12.9. So mod for mod the 5.0 should come out on top it all comes down to the driver.

I believe they have a launch button that makes it impossible to screw up as well. So beating one is quite the accomplishment, whereas winning in one is pretty lame.

I got my N/A 11 V6 fast as a stock 11-14 5.0 automatic with 3:15 gears. At least in the 1/4 mile run. I'm sure once the 5.0 hit 110 mph it would pull ahead but I be right on there heals. Lol! Keep that sixer. LMAO. Besides my C stripes must of added 50 HP or more. Ba ha ha ha ha

I don't believe that at all. Unless the 5.0 wasnt trying. Or unless you're a professional race car driver.

What do you mean by saying "GT's don't lose any"? From what I understand, GT's, whether Automatic or Manual, both suffer from about 15% parasitic loss. In a box stock 2011 or 2012 GT that would mean rwhp of approximately 350.
