Anyone have a Barton shifter near Pittsburgh?

I have the Barton shifter bracket on now and I was wondering how loud the shifter was? Would love to hear in person.

Just installed the Barton Shifter with the Two Post Bracket.

Shifting:
Amazing how much shorter it feels. Though only 40% shorter it feels shorter cuz the rubberiness is gone. Solid. Reverse is hard to get to. Pushing down requires some force. And it's not very easy to slide it to the left to access reverse. Maybe after using it a while it will loosen up from use.

Noise:
I hear no discernible road noise or engine vibration. But my cars got straight pipes so its pretty loud anyway. Also the poly bushing in the LCA sends more vibration in so maybe if you don't have poly bushings in your suspension you'll notice more NVH.

Overall:
Great for spirited driving. When you're on it this is a great shifter. But for just relaxed driving the stock shifter is actually more preferable. I think I would fine a better compromise without the two post bracket for a DD.

4.5/5 stars
