I'd say the clamp is to possible a coolant hose, it may be a spare the shop left over from doing repairs on your car. At the base of your wiper arm it looks cracked on the trim side. Not sure what that's about???

I'd take it back to the shop and let them know what you've found and your basis for concern.

...That is all

There is a round mark there as if something was there before it seems like a gasket or cap was there.

That looks like the clamp in the sound tube to the intake

Without the OP stating what was worked on, I'm gonna take a stab in the dark too, and say it's a **** ring.

The cowl (surrounding the wiper arms) looks like there's a trim ring missing, but there isn't. My '14 GT is the same way. Don't know why Ford would design the cowl that way, unless another edition includes a surround ring.

My 12 has the exact same thing. I was wondering if something was missing too. Must be normal though. Have no clue what the clamp ring thing is for.

Maybe some tech left it there to get you all worked up and confused about why it's there?

Yea who knows this is yet another reason I always try to do all the work myself you can't trust anyone no matter how much you pay.

That hose clamp is exactly like the clamp I removed when I took off the Sound Tube from my '13 GT. Doing a real quick look, I didn't see any other clamps like that under the hood. And as others have said, that's the way the Wiper arm assembly looks on mine.
