I bought a BAMA tuner for my JLT CAI. For $350 it was a bargain at AM.

Understood; if I had deep pockets I would take it to Brenspeed shop but am on a budget. It worked for me and no check - engine lights yet. Cheers.

Lund/ livernoismotosports/ brenspeed. All do email tunning. Alot better than bamas "canned" tunes.

Have you done a dyno on your vehicle to compare Lund vs Brenspeed vs Bama to see where the numbers fall. What makes them better than bama? Just curious. I only ask because I just left my dyno day and compared all my tunes Steeda vs MPT vs Bama tune and bama faired excellent

Yes I have a actuall dyno tune now. I have had a bama tune back when my car was stock. Also a lund tune. And brenspeed. Im not talking about #'s on a dyno. Im talking about performance. Bama is a joke. Only reason they got popular was bc of american muscle. What records do they have compared to other tuners?

I have no idea on what records but certainly would not call them a joke. They provide a reliable tune and clearly respectable and comparable numbers compared to other tuning companies.

#'s dont mean all that. There tunes suck your car will be slower with a bama tune vs lund/aed

Well that I don't know. I haven't been to track yet. I can't comment on track times with the tunes. I plan on going to track to see which tune of mine will provide the best time.

Dyno numbers are useless. Do some data logging with different tunes and you'll see a big difference.

I actually did data logging with Bama and MPT. Steeda I just got last night so no data log. All the tunes were 91 Octane tunes and 93 Octane fuel. My car, same mods, same weather , same temperature and here are the results. Also because I have an automatic 15% is lost to the wheels so I would of been well over 300 rwhp had it been a manual. All the numbers were very comparable and close.
Now as far as on the track and whose tune will get me the fastest time, no clue yet. Lol. That's to come.

Yes too lean but the air fuel ratio was 12.5 parts to 1. That was my MPT tune. It should be 12 parts to 1 ratio.

No meed to pay attention man. It dosent matter where you post. That was my bad for assuming it was a 5.0. I used to have a 4.6 3v and was not impressed. Even with the blower on it. My wife used to have a 3.7 and I was impressed. Verry impressed actually

Nope. Got beat by a full bolton/full exhaust 5.0. Right after it happened I went home picked up my wife. Then went to dealership and traded it in on a 5.0

Oh wow. Damn. Lol. We had a fellow today who put down 446 rwhp to his 2013 5.0 and had only tune, CAI, Boss 302 intake manifold. Freaking awesome they are on just bolt on. The guy doesn't even have long tubes headers or larger throttle body yet.

You could just return the totaled one to stock first. Then get new tunes written for the new cars cpu code

I thought the device was set to a specific car (engine code really) so I guess if your new stang has the same engine code then it would work.
