What is needed to Install Recaro Seats

Getting my son's '13 GT, the ONE thing this car did not have that we had been looking for in every other GT we looked at was the Recaro option. Since the time of our purchase, I have been diligently trying to find a decent "deal" on Recaro's. Almost pulled the trigger on a set of base Recaro's on ebay that went for 1,800 + shipping a couple of months ago. Almost settled for a set of leather ST Recaros for 1100 + shipping.
I pretty much check ebay and craigslist often for the seats. Finally this morning, a set of Boss 302 Recaro's front & a bonus the the rear seat is included shows up on ebay for a fair deal (1999+235ship) I wasted no time. No rips no tears no stains no burns. MY TECH QUESTION IS...........
The mounting brackets, airbag and all connections should be the same. Is there anything else I will need to make the swap front or back.

You spent that much on those?! Legitimate and completely custom made racing seats from recaro can be had for half that price. As far as I know, everything should swap right over, but if you have a premium you will loose the electric controls. Should have gotten the focus recaros. They are much nicer and about $1000 cheaper.

Not a premium. Had we ordered the car, we would have got the $1,800 option for sure. Trust me, this is a decent deal for what I have seen any Mustang Recaros go for and I look a lot. They have the Ford Racing Recaro's that will run you almost 3k after shipping. Wanted the ST leathers, but then the back seat would not match at all + would have had some fab work and upholstery work to get the ST off. I Have looked at all of the racing seats and really want a more street-able racing seat. (reclining lever, not a knob and the OEM seat airbag is nice to have ) and the good aftermarket seats are still up there in cost. With the Boss IM these will be a good addition. It is crazy how expensive all of the recaro mustang seats are though.

The Boss they are out of did not fair so well doing a pole dance.....

Will your air bags work in those seats? I'm assuming the bags deployed.

Bags did not deploy on either seat. Both seats are in tact. The only airbag that deployed it looked like was the passenger front air bag out of the dash. Steering wheel bag did not deploy. You would think a side airbag would deploy on a side impact?

Those are still available. If for some reason we don't like these, I could sell these and get the others, but I think we are going this route now.

That poor Boss.. Also a concern that a side impact didn't set off the airbags in the seat haha

Lol well let's hope there wasn't a passenger sitting there when he wrecked it.. I'm guessing there wasn't that's why it didn't deploy. If there was I bet he's wishin it did lol

Sounds like the computer worked flawlessly sensing no one was in the passenger seat.

Sorry, I thought both driver and passenger would deploy regardless of the side of impact.

He was asking too much for the steering wheel. I am sure he would throw in the boot if I get the knob and mats. I was ticked about the dash panels. Wish I had found it earlier

How much was too much for the steering wheel? I'd love that alcantara shift boot.
