Throttle Position Reading

So on my aeroforce gauge it says the trottle position is reading 74% when I have the pedal pressed to the floor. I've tried doing the whole reset thing where you turn the car on and slowly press and depress the pedal blah blah blah, but that didn't work. Unfortunately I haven't had an extra set of hands to help me visually see if the butterfly is full open when I have the pedal pressed. Is this a normal reading or am I just missing something. Seems to me the gauge should read 100%.

this is a form of torque management done by the ecu.... a tune will over ride this....

I do have a tune on the car already from AM and it is still doing this. Will it go to 100% as the speed of the car increases? I just want to know if I may have a possible problem or if this is expected.

It has nothing to do with torque management or anything.

Want confidence re-inspired? Pull of the CAI hose turn on the ign and brick the throttle on the floor. Look at the plate and you'll see it is fully open.

The car feels like it pulls hard, just thought the reading would be 100% if I am giving 100% throttle. I am going to pull the intake tube tonight and look at it. Just seems weird to me thats all.

You gauge simply is a generic reader and there is likely some modification to the signal the OEM uses here, for some reason. The % opening is an estimate based upon the TPS signal.

Datalog and check your TPS that way if you're concerned. Prior to tuning, it datalogged at 74% @ WOT.... After a tune the datalog read 90% @ WOT

...which still doesn't mean the throttle plate is opening any wider. The throttle is open all the way at the indicated 74% stock, right on the stop.

Did a visual check over the weekend. It's open all the way. No worries. Just thought it was a funny.
