steering wheel in locked position?

Can I get some guys with 11-12GT or any 11 up GT chime in on where is your steering wheel position when you take keys out and lock wheel? Curious? Thanks!

I leave mine straight ahead, it's easier on the front end.

Not even talking about where you leave it man. Talking about if you cut car off and take keys out and turn wheel till it is LOCKED!!

I've always been afraid to do that... I feel as if I'm forcing something, I figure it can't be good for the car

I believe it's a function for use when parking on a hill where you would turn your wheel far right if pointing down hill on the right curb. That way if the parking brake slips the wheels locked toward the curb the car might only move a little until the tires hit the curb. Without the lock the wheels could straighten up and the car would roll down the hill.
