What size wheels on my 2012 GT

Guys,

I don't want to make a mistake. I want to install new wheels and tires.

I would like to go 19 or 20 inch wheels. Will both sizes fit without interfering with anything? What width should I be looking at? Will I need to recalibrate the speedo? What is involved with the TPMS?

I am old school and will go with polished chrome or possibly polished aluminum, any of you guys with photos, let me know!

Thanks,

Joe

Well i have 20s on mine and it doesnt interfere with anything. I got mine staggered because i love that wide tire look on the mustang from the rear. It just makes it have a really nice stance specially if you lower it just enough
And as for the sensor they should just be able to take them out of your stock GT wheels onto the new rims

20s look really nice on 2010+..... 18s perform best on 2010+... 19s are an all around compromise (except tires are more expensive).

Recommend 19x9 in the front and 20x10 in the back. That is what I am saving up for. The new roush graphite 20" rims look sick and you can get the steering wheel spacer kit to prevent problems in the front. Post picks of you final setup.

Both will fit, the back spacing you need is 7.5" max.

TC, keeping the backspacing at 7.5 max will ensure no interference?

Yes, it can be less, but not more. I'm referring to the back, not sure on the front maximum.
