Engine smoke

Well this morning when I started up my car I saw white smoke coming from underneath the hood. It smelled like burnt oil. Should I be concerned. I'm going to bring it into ford next week.

Did you get an oil change recently? Maybe they spilled a little oil some where. Or you might have an oil leak.

That depends where the oil leak is coming from. Some spots, like the oil pan gasket is not a quick job.

Regardless, I'd take it into the dealer just for safe measure. It's always better to catch issues in the beginning before they get worse. That's just my mind set.

Good luck!

Dealership if you got warranty because it probably take you a couple hours to diagnose and fix whatever leak you have unless its from your filter which wouldn't smoke.

So... Maybe they spilled oil when they refilled it.

Either way if it takes a couple hours I'd rather the dealer monkey with it than wasting my time.
