GT 5.0 Oil Dipstick Grip/Handle

I've searched but cant find if anyone has had a problem with replacing the yellow plastic grip/handle that pulls out the oil dipstick with the after market chrome billet grip/handle. I even had a mechanic try it but it wouldnt fit snug enough to prevent oil spurting out. He even tried different o-rings. Also, the chrome cap for the windshield washer doesnt stay on. Luckily, it held in place by a wire you put over/down the outdside of washer tube. Appreciate it if someone can offer help. These things cost a bit--guess I might have to return them.

I'd send them back. Thanks for mentioning the fit problems. Where did you get them? I'll avoid the ones you got when I add some engine bay dress-up later on.

Thanks, I think I will. I'll have to check but I believe it was either AmericanMuscle or PJPony. All the others worked well and look great.

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're having with your oil dip stick handle and washer fluid cap. We run a lot of this engine dress up stuff on our project cars and have never had a problem!

I see that you're unsure where you purchased the products at this time. Please let me know if you bought these products through us and I'll make sure you're credited back and we get you a new alternative sent out right away!

If you have an order number, shoot me a PM and I'll make sure you're taken care of!

-Dan

Thanks, Dan. that's awfully nice of you guys to do this. I really do like them and if replacements will work that would be great. I'll check and see if I purchased from you and let you know.
