Mine will still be functional, otherwise I'd throw in the towel. It won't be easy to do mainly for the mount bolts. I know they'll need to be longer. I'm sure those bolts are pressed in and will need to be cut/pulled out. I'm going to build custom mounting blocks and drill the mount holes, then weld in some extra gusseting underneath. Like you, I also think the factory bar is a nice quality piece and I want to keep it.
