3v blocks have a better main bearing area than the 5.0 ..........Don't remember who tested that, but it was done by a reputable company.

" Dan is right, JDM is one of the top 4.6 3V modders out there. I was going to put forged internals in my SGT but have decided to get a entire built engine and store the stock one. It really depends what you want from the engine. If you want 700-1000hp you should think about a complete engine build or second engine. The Ford Racing 4.6 3V short block rated at 700+hp at the crank, they also sell CNC ported heads, cams etc. Some others to consider Boss330, JDM, Livernois or MMR. The Boss330 short block is a killer with the I beam rods, JDM & Livernois offer the same and also offer longblocks. MMR offers some graat ported heads and one of the best cam set ups for Turbo's. You really aren't helping yourself... That's not on a stock block, it's completely rebuilt and fully forged.

I'm content with 600 Hp for now although the e-force SUPERCHARGER can produce 16- 20 psi perhaps even more that would be in the 700-800+ Hp range roughly speaking of course.

The block isn't the issue, it's the crap rotating assembly in the 4.6. Gotta imagine, what you ate suggesting is adding 100+% to the factory output so, you'll have to build it up completely and totally. Well see what you really do....

Hahaha. Hope you have more than that eforce with the 600hp breenspeed kit or you may cry just a little. ( I had a supercharged 3v stock motor). Full Bolton 5.0 hurt its feelings. So tread lightly with what you think will be in your mirror

I not so secretly hate the asthmatic 4.6.

5.0 gets to 600 on stock internals and relatively low boost.

It's just another planet from that 90s technology leftover iron lung you got there.

Build it and don't be a ricer fool with your supercharged badge on your NA car.

really a full bolt on 5.0 makes 600 Hp , I highly doubt that , get real
stock it only has 420 hp. That would be almost 200HP increase with
bold ons ............ keep dreaming.

Full Bolton 5.0 with e85 and cams will make 500 at the tires easily. I'm talking rwhp not flywheel like your kit is buddy. Also I have (HAD) supercharged 3v.
Once you get your blower installed take a trip down to Texas and we can run, I will stay on motor and show you what a full Bolton 5.0 on e85 can do.

Your one of the guys that gets sold on HP #'s thinking the higher # wins. Shops make a killing off people like you.

And the Wiesco 351 long block kit for the 5.0 (around $15k) will give about 750hp at the crank N/A and with FI 2000hp. It will make the 11'-14' GT a high 7 low 8 second 1/4 mile car. Best part, every stock part above the block when keeping the kit N/A can be used. The only mod need is port and polishing the heads. When you lift the hood it looks like a stock 5.0 you can not tell it is a 351 with 750hp!

E85 is a fuel just like. 89,91, 93 , pump gas so if I take away the e85 then I'm not going to far so.......

I will say it 1 more time. Your 600hp flywheel 3v will get beat by a full Bolton 5.0 I promise. Nobody said a 5.0 will gain 200 with Bolton's. Except you. You are a #'s warrior. Which will send you and your little supercharged badge crying

not likely .... and in order to beat me you will have to have 600 + Hp with your bolt ons as I'm switching the rear end to 4.10's
