I look forward to seeing everybody's time!

The motor runs better in cooler temperatures.

I do not have a time but with my 275 nittos and the auto tranny i'm sure it's around low to mid 4's.

My only mod is Flow outlaw axle backs. So I'm stock. I'll give it a shot tonight on my way home from work at 2AM. there's a nice flat straight on a back road. There will be no cars on the road at that time. I'll post times after the three quick sprints to sixty. See if I can be consistent.

4.1 with advancetrak set to sport & street tires. Coincidentally this was almost immediately after I installed the MGW shifter...

She's got a better time in her, driver limited at this point. Traction is a pain in the a$$.

I made three runs on my way home from work...it was 1:45AM 38 degrees.

Run 1: Tranny in sport mode traction control off. Big time traction issues put down a 5.2 run.

Run 2: Tranny is sport mode, traction control in sport mode. Had a little traction problems. Put down a 4.8 run.

Run 3: Tranny in sport mode, traction control on, had very little wheel spin at the start it seamed as fast as the 2nd run but after it shifted to 2nd it took off and landed a 4.6 second run.

My car has 275 Nitto 555's out back and axlebacks. I'm very pleased with the last two runs. I think there is more on a warmer night. Say around 60-65 degrees and a road surface not as cold as 38 degrees it was tonight.

I'm really looking forward to performance mods now. Pretty sure 355 gears will be the first mod. Car is still under warrantee so i'll spend the extra and have the dealer upgrade the gears for me. That way I keep the warrantee if something breaks.

The ride depends on how low you go.. search for lowering threads on here and you can get a good idea of what you'll need to have a lowered ride and an almost factory feel. Helps a lot with wheel hop and the big gap between the wheels and fenders.

But with a change in gears you will need a tune to compensate for them seeing as 3.55's don't come in the auto. Dealer won't be able to help you. So with a tune you can basically kiss your drivetrain warranty goodbye.

A tune is not required. All that needs done is a flash to the computer to adjust for milage. You do not need new shift points or timing advanced etc. My dealers has installed 3:73s in an auto and even 4:10s. That guy went back a week later and asked to have it put back to stock. Not sure what you have been told but the dealer I go to has put gears in mustangs.

Lol I told my brother in law who drives an E63 AMG I did one run at 3.2s and sent him this pic. What I didn't tell him was I pressed the start button accidentally late after I launched cuz the damn track system isn't very responsive sometimes when I press go.

I've hit 3.8 & 3.9 a few times. Can do 4.0 consistently on the street. It's not easy...

Not enough weight on the rear Im thinking cuz look at those Porsches. Less power in general but easily 0-60 on average about .3-.4s faster than what their HP would suggest.

Their new 911 4S does 0-60 in 3.9s for Motortrend with only like 395hp. I think they tested a 911 S and it was faster.

It's quite the struggle. It's definitely an art to get a good launch.

Would a different tire help with your traction. I only ask because I would think with good traction and 3.55 gears I would think 4.3 to 4.4 0-60. The 360 rwhp is awesome but no good if one can't put the power down to the pavement. Lol

I would certainly think so. I hate these pirelli p zeroes. Id like to upgrade to continental dws or Michelin pilot super sports and throw 275s in the rear. But I might as well wear the stock tires out first. I know suspension work will help a bit too. It's all on the to do list haha

Right now more hp isnt the greatest idea because I want to keep my warranty and I don't see the point in adding hp until I can put down the hp I have to the ground

That's so true. You can add 100 rwhp but if you can't get good traction now you really won't get good traction with another 100 rwhp. Lol. Better tires and bet UCA and LCA would help a lot for your traction. I guess the only good thing about lacking torque like my v6 is better traction because less power. Lol.
