Something might be wrong with my car ok back at 15 avg mpgs and I'm going as light as I can on it. Shifting at 2k rpms slowly accelerating filled up the tank again and the it says 235 miles till e on a full tank of gas. I wanna take it to ford and tell then about it but I don't want them to tell me it's a v8 it's going to spend more gas.

Texas to Memphis an back

I just buried my Mom and drove from coastal Texas to Millington,Tn. & back to coastal Texas. I averaged 28.3 mpg and have a spare tire in the well. Sweet I say.
I wish my Mom could have seen my new pony, it's nice. All my relatives gave it compliments. I just put new shoes on Roanstang 245/45/18's.

I usually go 60-70 depending on traffic level. Cruising at 80 would defen me from my exhaust drone (which isn't bad, but I usually drive 2+ hours at a time), but I can deal with the drone. It's that my mpg goes down a little more at 80

My 2012 gt is a dd and shows similar mpg, 226 miles to empty, all city driving, never used less than 93 octane, had airaid cai and gt500 axle backs, 22k miles on it. I will have dealer clean fuel injectors and change fuel filter, may be that will improve mpg a little.

Don't waste your money, you can't trust the computer for mpg. Do the math and if it's bad, then have it looked at.

I use an iphone app called MPGforFREE to calculate my mileage every tank. Every time I fill up, I reset the mileage computer. I have found that the computer is always within .1 or .2 mpg of the manual calculation. I think you just need to reset it each tank for it to be accurate.

I reset my trip A every time I fill up and it get close to the 235 miles. I don't know about you guys but my gas light always turns on at a 1/4 of a tank the car just hit 10k miles. I never had a car do that and to me that is not normal.

I think mine comes on about 1/8 of a tank but, I am not 100% sure.

It is if you are trying to hit 30mpg. I do give the mustang a workout with a trip to the drag strip and one autocross this year.

I am around 17 right now as I'm learning what it like. I have 3.73 and 6sp.

It's get the best of all my 4 wheel items except my gsxr-750 which the car can't compete with.

My 2012 Gt 5.0 track pak manual is getting 17.5 mpg, 80/20 city/highway. It has done 26.5 highway only.

14-15 avg with almost all city. 12 gt auto. I have a vmp race tune and sent it off to get revised and they said everything is all good. So guess with there tune it's just crappy gas mileage.
