First Dyno run - bone stock

Well, I got my base numbers at FAST yesterday an I'm fairly pleased. Bone stock with the exception of Roush ABs.

368 HP / 336 TQ

Power curve all over the place. Definitely need a tune. 93 octane gas / 62 degrees.

Note, not trying to start a debate on #s and type of Dyno. That's what I got and since I will use the same Dyno when I do my mods, I will have something to compare it to. That's all that matters.

Of course I did get to see a Boss lay down 619 with a Vortech blower. It was awesome.

It was $50 for three pulls but that was at the first Dyno party. Don't know what he's gonna charge on his regular Sat gig. I can call and find out.

I just talked to Mike. He said he would do $50 for two pulls on Sat night due to sheer volume. He wants to give everyone a shot to get up there.

That is a really good price for a dyno run.

So you have a good apples to apples comparison for next time find out what correction factor he used, that is the key to the numbers. And use that next time.

Basically a Mustang Dyno is a dyno that is suppose to better replicate real-world driving...it has a loaded drum that simulates wheel to road contact. This dyno usually gives you a little lower numbers and the dyno jet gives you numbers that are a little high. But the important thing to remember is to use the same dyno for your mods and you'll get good feedback of what your mods give you.

And that's exactly what I was getting at. I know there are going to be variables in Dyno make, model, weather etc. Nobody really ever knows true RWHP, but if I have a baseline to go from then I am good.
