I have never heard of any gains switching from stock coils... Only logical reason to ever change the stocks, would be unless they fail, but what are the odds of that happening?? Coyotes are still fairly new

I read or saw somewhere the Accels helped with fuel efficiency and with tuning added like 10hp...But the 10hp came on a car with CAI, Long tubes & Full exhaust...

AM has a 15% sale on the Accel ones, so they would be under $400. If you have $ and want them go for it. IMO they it wouldn't be something I'd do without a need for more spark, but to each their own. I haven't seen a need for better spark since the old 5.0. Post your results if you do get them.

They would have to prove that to me on a dyno, current day ignitions put out a lot of juice. I do not see 10 hp just on spark.

A buddy of mine had surging issues with his car and some minor performance lag so he got the accel ones for ****s n giggles (he dont care for money he makes bank lol) honestly after we swapped out his stockers for the new accel ones we instantly saw a great improvement on his idle and over performance. His surging issues are now a thing of the passed and his car drives smoother at least thats what we felt.

Good to here that fixed it, he could have had a coil pac or two going bad. I had a bad coil on my 96 Z28 the dealer could not find the issue. Had an experienced racer/wrencher tell me what it was after one pass down the track... Changed the coil and no more problems...
