Lost mph in 1/4

Changed my tires out with a inch smaller tire and went from 12.54 to 12.7 and loss mph in trap speed. Does that sound about right?

What was the DA between both runs? Weather conditions? Auto or manual? Gears? No one can answer your question without you giving more information.

Are you tuned or stock? What were the DA between both runs? Tires with both runs? 60' with both runs? As you can see there's a lot of variables. Also I assume with the 17" tire your car shifted into 4th just before you crossed the stripe?

So if you put the old tires back on it goes back to 12.5s? Smaller dia. tire raised your rear gear ratio. About 3.5 now. Should go quicker but a slight dip in speed. Starting line adjustments.
