Chicagoland Speedshops?

I've been looking for a few reputable performance shops in the Chicago area - I've got the wife's greenlight on the paxton this upcoming year and I'll need a somewhat local shop to install & tune...plus some suspension work.

Any recommendations? Most of the places and guys I've talked to say that there really isn't much around here anymore after the 'Fast and Furious' tuner craze died off a few years ago.

I'll need a place that is cool with installing customer purchased parts...

Where around chi town are you? There's quite a few places around! Dyno tune MP- and Modular powerhouse are the best ford tuners in the state , dyno tune mp is in st Charles , mph is in Rockford , there is also finish line performance in Naperville , Logan Motorsport , geared up performance, and a few more, but like I stated my first two recomendations are ford masters!

Brenspeed in Indiana is not to far from chi-town. They will put you and your friends up in their guest house for free.

Mt Prospect, but Rockford and St. Charles are not too far away for good work! I'll look them up, thanks!

I need to recommend Finish line Performance in Naperville. I haven't had any work done with them per-say, but i was up a creek without a paddle earlier in the year. I was having trouble with the chip in my car. Nobody in the area (I'm from Rolling Meadows) would even touch the Car, Even Speed Inc in Schaumburg wanted nothing to do with it. Took it to FLP, they confirmed my thoughts on a bad chip. They even went in, took the chip out, and uploaded a BAMA tune i had. All free of charge. Not to mention the fact, they have some BEAST cars at that place. Lots of stangs, i'd give them a try.
