Baseline tune scheduled!

Scheduled 2 baseline pulls at La Motta Performance. Heard nothing but great things from this shop. I will post up results Wed afternoon. The plan is to re dyno in mid dec to see what the gains are after installing my goodies.
Bittersweet knowing the baseline should be fairly close to my post bolt on LS2 Goat! Lol.
Guessing in the neighborhood of 370/360?! Florida warm and humid. Shall see.

I will. I hear nothing but compliments about this shop. Buddy has an '05 with a whipple and granaded his aftermarket clutch. Company would not return it, but La Motta replaced it on his own dime! Says that he is selling a clutch that is advertised to over 1000hp, and should have held up!
Another buddy with a '13 GT500 had a huge wish list and La Motta told him a bunch of the stuff on his list will not really benefit him and not to order. Lost $ on a bigger sale, but gained a customer for life...well, now 2 possibly!

Nice numbers for a warm, wet and I'm sure a humid day. On a better day you could probably see a few more horses and tq.

Update......

Added the following last weekend:
Steeda catch can
Steeda CAI
Steeda cat deletes
Borla Ataks, axel back
Bama 93 oct race tune with ghost idle
Steeda Ultra-lite Springs
BMR LCA relocation brackets
Steeda LCAs
Steeda adjustable pan hard bar
MGW shifter

Install took 10 hours working by myself in the garage. I did have air tools tho. Just dynoed her today. Temp 80, can't remember the humidity, but it is a moist Florida day! Sorry u upnorth guys!
Very happy with results. Hoping for 390, would be stoked with 400!
Just need to order the 285s next. Was planning on a hairdryer next, but honestly, it really is just right. Time will tell!

Very good fit. And I did my whole install in my garage with a race (low) floor jack and two jack stands. Very easy except for the passenger side upper cat clamp bolt. Have to get it from the engine compartment with about a 2 foot extension. Best it to be a 3/8 or 1/2 " because it takes some torque to get it off.
Very happy with all of the Steeda stuff. No leaks at all.

Yup. That's about what I expected. Looks like everyone is getting 30-40 increase with similar mods. Not bad for a few bolt ons! Absolutely feels much faster for sure.
I personally love the ghost tune. U either love it or hate it.

Did bama tell you you had to eliminate the cats for the ghost tune? I've heard it both ways. I'm not taking mine off cuz I have to pass Marta every year but I like the idea of the old school idle

I believe with the bama ghost tune, you do have to eliminate the cats. Although with the steeda cam tune, you do not. Pretty sure I read that from a Steeda rep somewhere. Might want to give them a call to double check though.

Thanks for the update, love this thread. Didn't make it to dyno day but plan on coming out shortly.

You mods pretty much mirror what I want to do except I want an o/r lethal h-pipe.

I'd like to go the O/R route but it's just such a pain getting it thru emissions every year. I use to with my old fox body and I did for cpl years with my 07 but jst got to b such a hassle. Plus, I already had the parts so didn't have to go out and buy them!!! Lol

Bama ghost tune will destroy cats, thats why they say u must delete them. Steeda can't do a ghost tune (cam idle) for 13&14. They told me they just don't sell enough for more R&D. The computers are that different they said. They do have one for the 11-12 tho.
Btw, my Borlas have finally broken in. Wicked sound! They initially were a bit raspy over 4k (which started to worry me) but that has gone away after about 300 miles now. Absolutely love the sound!!!! Def loud, and a great tone.
225 mile road trip today on 93 oct race tune with ghost idle, and got 22.5 mpg. Stock was 24.5 - 25.0 at 75mph.

Just curious, what did your GTO put down? When I had my 06, it put down 390/390 with LT, catless midpipes, mufflers, cai, iat relocate, and a tune vs. my 14 GT which put down more with just a K&N drop in, axle back, and tune.

Mine was an '06 also and put down 386/387 here in Florida in summer. Had Kooks LT, hi flow cats, Magnaflows cat backs, Cai and tune. I thought that thing was quick. This Stang blows it away!
I miss the uniqueness of the GTO, but I really don't see many new GTs anyway. And this thing handles oodles better!

I'm in FL too (NE FL). The GTO had more up top due to the gearing, but I agree, the Mustang is quicker.

I had an 05 GTO as well before my mustang, with similar mods as you guys. Great car, but it just felt like an absolute BOAT while driving it. The 5.0 feels so much lighter.

I will say my GTO on a 150 shot really woke it up. And one thing you can't complain about on the GTO are the seats. As I remember, they are even better than the SRT8 seats!

No worries bro!
I have the TracPac with Recaros, so I love my gt seats better. I did love the goat's interior tho. Yep, def felt like a boat, even with the irs.
Can't imagine a 150 shot...couldn't hook at all. Had to use an air suspension setup with diff psi on each side to help the wheel hop. And rubber was a joke. A condom barely fit in the wheel well!
Sure miss it tho.
Need to plan a mini cruise/track day!
Troy

For ur watching enjoyment..

Oh god yeah. Those seats were amazing. The only seat I've sat in there were probably more comfortable were from my beater crown vic i had when i was younger. Between the seats and the air ride system, that car felt like it was floating lol.

We don't have a 1/4 mile track in Jax. We HAD an 1/8 mile track years ago but that's long gone. The only tracks we have now are miles long.

Only time I go to OSW is for WSN, otherwise I'll go to Gainesville or SGMP, both are closer but still 1 hour plus away.

After letting it settle for a week and 700 miles, took it in for an alignment. Felt perfect, but want to be sure. Caster was off some, and camber barely off. Almost 0.0 now. I have no caster/camber plates, or bolts! Speed shop (LaMotta) said I would most likely not need them...he does tons. He was right.
These Borla Ataks sound better and better as they break in. Could not be happier.
Next on the list are Mickey Thompsons!

Good to hear suspension is tight, I may do an all in one trip out there to have them install suspension and do a few dyno pulls after the new year.
