No need to torque them. You would be hard pressed to over tighten them, they are hardened.

No need to use a torque wrench but it's probably a good idea. I would have used one if I had known what the proper torque is. I installed mine in less than 5 minutes. Just remove the 2 inward nuts on both shock towers, install brace and tighten bolts evenly. Do not rock or move the car with the bolts loose.

I was like you when I installed my strut tower brace, I was concerned about over tightening the bolts so I broke down and bought a torque wrench for like 40 bucks from Auto Zone. If my memory serves me correct, you torque wrench the bolts to 26 psi.

26 PSI??? You mean foot pounds. That's not much. I don't think it's crucial to have a torque rating for them. Just get them good and tight. Not to where you need a breaker bar to tighten it. Hand wrench tight.

Lmao. Clearly I have no mechanical skills
Lol. I meant 26 foot pounds. Silly me. I watched some you tube video from CJ pony on my Boss strut tower brace install and they talked about using torque wrench. I will see if I can find it. They gave some torque wrench number setting for tightening the bolts.

Found it! Check it out. Torque wrench 26 foot pounds
