Wheel size on 2012 cs - Mustang Evolution

Wheel size on 2012 cs

Hey guys...Quick question

Can I put 245/front and 275/back on stock california special wheels? Is it going to look weird and is there a benifit doing it?

Yeah I believe they are 9" wide. Which will easily fit both. And no they wont look weird. Alot of people, including myself run a staggered setup. I have 245s up front, and 285s in the rear.

The benefit is that you will get more grip in the rear, and have less weight in the front. If you plan of auto crossing the car, i would recommend going with a wider tire in the front. Otherwise a staggered setup is a good option, other than the fact you will not be able to rotate your tires.

If you ever plan to drive in snow, a staggered set up is a bad idea.

I agree, I was told the max on a 9" rim is 275s.

Oops. I could have sworn they were 9". Yeah i agree though. A 275 is to wide for a 8.5
