Your dealer may surprise me but, I doubt they would fill it with anything other than the Motorcraft Dual Clutch fluid and XL-18 Additive.

No I have someone there a technician that works on all the cars, I actually had him put a short shifter in my car, my bro droped off his shelby there and they installed a rxt twin clutch, clutch lines. All that good stuff, basically I can take my car to them with slicks and skinnies for an oil change lol.

So back to my question i heard redline mtl is good?, dont know where to get it

Guess I misunderstood your question. I thought you were asking if you could take them an alternative fluid to fill a new warranty replacement tranny with. I can't see them wanting to do that. Although you are free to change it to whatever you like after you leave there.

As far as brand change, I have no Redline experience. I'm changing mine to Lucas 75W-90 on Tuesday to see if I can quiet some of the Chinese gear rattle.

what kind of oil? - SVTPerformance

Post #17 explains what you should use in your transmission. I have no personal experience with it but many have switched with good results.

If you are getting a warranty part, let them fulfil the warranty the way they want to. You can do what you like once you leave but, the stuff they are going to put in isn't bad.

When are you getting it installed? I've been waiting two months for my trans to get here. It's suppose to be shipped from the packing house directly to my dealer today. They should get it by the mid-late next week. They have agreed to install an aftermarket clutch for free since they are having to install one anyways.
