Steeda tune question

So I've back and forth hundreds of times on whether to purchase the Steeda tune plus cai. I'm close to pulling the trigger but I have a couple questions. Warranty issue aside, is it inherently more dangerous to the motor running say a 93 street tune over a 91 street tune? Also, again, warranty issue aside, I only have 2600 miles on the Stang, is it too soon for a tune? ('14 GT TP manual)

It isn't dangerous. The higher grade gas the better it is. Especially if you're tuned for it.

I would say wait until your first oil change

Most people say wait until your first 10k I'm going to wait till 8k. But if you really want to just wait till your first oil change at least

The Steeda CAI is the best one on the market IMO, and Steeda has been around for a long time and works with Ford, so you can't go wrong with them.

Yeah, I'm going to pass on a cai. The minute gains aren't worth any amount of water saturation for me.

I had a steeda tune before and after I had a steeda cai, and the tune with the cai added was much stronger. I don't know if this just because the tune was more aggressive or what but it was worth it.

The combination will net you higher gains than the tune alone. It is a great combination.

As far as water saturation ... there aren't any issues with water getting on the CAI. The president of Steeda has the CAI on his 2013 and he has driven it daily. He drives it during rain storms and gets car washes regularly ... no issues.

Let me know I can help answer any questions?

Best Regards,

TJ

Hey TJ, I tired to order my tune last night using the Steeda GE Capital card but there is no where enter the card information. All I got was Visa, Master Card, etc.

Yeah tj, i had problems with that too. I just called and placed my orders over the phone, but the rep told me there is no option to use the financing online. Problem is, after you get accepted it says you can instantly use it online. Just an FYI, as it is pretty confusing for your customers.
