It's never going to sound like the old school BC of the variable cam timing. That's why they make ghost cam tunes to make it lope :/

Lol the first tune they send u is a base tune so u can load it up. After u load it and run it for a day so ur car can get used to it ur gna wanna do a data log. That way they fix the jerking when driving very slow since this is a auto. And after 1 or 2 revisions you have a safe ghost cam tune that wont hurt your transmission which im sure everyone is afraid of.

And what do u mean "resonator deletes offline"? Lol

Anyone know how the HP is affected by the 93oct Ghost cam vs the 93 Race tune? I was reading on another thread somewhere the you sacrifice some HP for the sound with the Ghost tune...I can't find the thread, it might be in a different forum...

No the variable cam timing is only affected at idle. You're good to go as soon as you put your foot in it.

No, it's not for me. But that's not the point. You said it was for M/T cars only which is simply not true. There are tuners out there that can provide one for someones auto car as well. Read your post below.

Yeah duh... I know that ghost tunes are not for MT only. Found that out for the first time "AFTER" my post you quoted. No need to continue beating a dead horse dude...

There is no way I'm trusting a ghost tune on an auto way to soon. They have not been around long enough for auto's... I would need to see proof from the tune company that they ran it on a 5.0 auto for several months safely with absolutely no issues before I try it.

Just read up on cam tunes for both MT and auto. Yeah they make them for auto's, but if you live in an area where emission are tested and you need cats. Better not run it as a daily driving tune. The cam tunes runs real rich sending unburnt fuel into the cats which in turn can clog and bog down your motor. the cats could also melt the from detonation of unburnt fuel. The tune sounds cool but there is no benefit other than sound. I live in money hungry NY and need my cats. The high flows will not pass emissions in NY from what I hear. Until I hear different I'll keep the stockers on. As I said before I will not run one do not need a headache.

I run my ghost cam on my auto with my long tubes and high flow cats and so does a friend and its a dd and nope our cats are safe.....why? Because there is a failsafe built in so if the cats get too hot it goes back into normal idle mode. Last I checked only MPT offered that so for u guys with cats ur good

What going to stop a detonation of unburnt fuel that may make it in to the cats? Bad tunes are known to be made. What if to much fuel get sent to the cats. One backfire to late.

I just do not feel comfortable yet with one on my $34,000 car.

I need my cats to keep the mice population down at the farm. When they get too hot in the summer time they can be found under the porch.
