No worries with steeda, they represent you if warranty work is denied.

oh sweet. I doubt op will have any problems in the first place. I think the #8 cyl issue has been long solved. And I don't think it ever happened with a steeda tune either

Huh?

There's a lot of threads on a lot of forum about this happening to people. But like I said I think this issue got solved a long time ago.

I also BELIEVE (and don't quote me on this) that these #8 cylinder failures were with BAMA tunes and not with steeda tunes

---------- Post added at 02:06 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:05 PM ----------

I don't have a 5.0 so I don't know too much. But these failure threads came up a lot when I was researching tunes and what they do

might have been. I would have broke down in tears if that was me. And denied all coverage for it cuz the tune was on it.

That's the risk you take though

The #8 cylinder issue was only in the 11s i believe, and it was the bama tunes that had problems with it. I also believe that bama now offers a warranty against the #8 issue. Steeda on the other hand, has NEVER had any issues with it. Period.

How much of a noticeable difference was the feel once you installed the tune? Pretty noticeable?

I would say it was definitely noticeable. I wouldn't say i gained a TON of power, but the car is just so much more fun to drive. And much smoother. That being said, i still noticed a power increase, especially in the mid-high rpms. Biggest difference to me though was the increased throttle response. Night and day over stock. One little blip of the pedal and boom, you're gone.
