new Airaid MXP intake

Airaid claims 11 horsepower and 11# torque increase with this unit. Any thoughts ?

I'd be willing to bet they claim "Up to" 11hp. Meaning it can be 2hp

I imagine those numbers were in ideal conditions, and peak numbers in the curve over stock, not the end result in rwhp

I'm looking into possibly using the stock intake tube w/ the Boss intake I just got. I know it won't work as is, but my theory is I may be able to cut the last bend off the tube to the TB and just use a section of turbo coupling hose.

I'm buying the AEM not for power increase because it is minimal at best. I'm buying it for the looks. It has a closed in and sealed air box also looks so much better than stock. The air box cover and tube are grey in color to match the coil covers and manifold. I go to car shows and try to find shows with a daily driver class.

FYI: BBK claims up to 16hp on theirs. Ha!!!
