I want to ask u all a question.

I have a 5.0 2011 full bolt-on and I'm looking to upgrade but I'm confused between putting a supercharge and cam shaft or build an engine with a block and heads and cum shaft so which is better? Thanks all for the replays in advance.

Supercharged and cam shaft would get you the most unsafe HP gains. (100-250hp)

Supercharged and built bottom end would get you much safer HP gains. (100-250 and more)

Increased compression plus longer duration cum shafts gives something like 15-20% more HP which is about 80whp. Without a cum shaft you will see 1-2% increase in HP from stock compression (4-8whp).

Either way the engine with the built block can spin higher and longer more reliably with more HP.

*all this assuming you put down about 430whp with bolt ons
