89 in 93 tune

Soo I let my buddy use my car and being the nice guy that he is he put gas in it and I didn't know he was going to do that, therefore I didn't tell him it needed 93 because I have a BAMA 93 performance tune installed. What's my best course if action? He put about 5.5 gallons in.

Switch back to the stock tune ASAP or down to a 89 tune. Run your next tank down to the light and then fill up with high quality gas right to the brim before switching back to the performance tune.

Yep.

You can just drive the car easy until all the gas is used up though.

Just drive the car mildly. No need to remove the tune with only 5.5 gallons of 89 octane. When the tank gets half empty, fill it up with 93 octane.

These guy have pointed you in the right direction. We don't recommend running a lower octane if you're going to be beating on the car. However, if you're just going to put around and not really push the car, you'll be fine. I would recommend driving the car calmly, let the gas light come on, fill it up with 93 and you'll be in good shape!

Hope this helps.
