Help! Where is the PCM Part # Located?

I'm trying to order the Ford Racing Tuner for delivery. Ford Racing is closed for the holidays, so they don't answer the phone.

Please point me to the PCM number.

Thanks!
Dave

PCM port is under and to the left of your steering wheel.
See where your tuner plugs in.

You have to plug in your tuner, and it will read your PCM/ECU Strategy code. This is the number you need.

If you are looking for your car's computer code open the hood and look down towards the radiator on the passengers side. In between the passenger headlight and the fuse box you will see a five or six digit code.

Thanks to all. Based on the above, it's a 3 letter, one number code on the bottom of the info strip.

Mine is WYN3.

Now if I can just get the damn Ford Racing site registration form to work.............

Dave

Very amusing.

A different browser, ..........or maybe a different product.

The Official Site of Ford Racing Performance Parts - Mustang Parts, Crate Engines, Packs, Wheels, Superchargers, Racing Parts | FRPP - Performance Authority registration form for the ProCal will not display the various packages so I can't input the correct one. Naturally, it's the last question on the registration form. I tried to call the tech help number, but they have limited vacation hours during the week & today is Saturday. No registration for me today. Frustrating.

Again, thanks to the folks who sent accurate information to help me out today.

Happy Holidays,
Dave

The code for 2011 is on the silver flage at the head of the PCM, facing the passenger side fender. There are several numbers here, the lowest one is the code.

If you don't have this right, it'll appear the Procal website isn't working when you're inputting the correct number is what allows you to select the options on the page.

5LHO,

Do you recall if there is an idle rpm adjustment on the ProCal tune, like the SCT tuner has?

Thanks,
Dave

No, there is no need for one. The tune is take it or leave it, it doesn't need adjustments like that.

Remember, the tune is 50 state emission legal. You can't have idle adjustment and make that standard. It has to be locked.

You can adjust for octane, factory available gearsets and wheel revs per mile, that's it.

CORRECTION: WYN3 is NOT my PCM code. It is NOT a 3 letter, one number code.

The code format is: XXXX-XXXXXX-XX (4 characters, dash, 6 characters, dash, 2 characters) A combination of letters and numbers.

This for a 2014 GT with auto trans.

Best wishes,
Dave
