I noticed mine look almost like they are broken. I think I'm going to take them in this week. Should I have to worry about the tune and CAI? Should I return it to stock?

My 2014 GT premium has this problem as well.

I always return mine to stock before taking it to the dealer. I had a 2012 and they flashed the PCM without asking/telling me. Luckily I didn't have a tune at the time.

Oh, if you have a CAI maybe you don't want to go back to stock.

I think I would just unplug the little pony lights before I de-modded my car to get them fixed. But that's just me though..

Maybe put the stock airbox on? How will you deal with other warranty work?

Ok, I just got a beer out of my car.

My passenger side is like factory.

My drivers side has the shard look.

I'm taking it to the dealer.

Wait, why the hell would a person unmod their car just for the puddle lights!? That's the stupidest thing I have ever heard. It's not like they're going to say "sir, you have an intake and a tune, so your puddle light is void" lol.

PS, have any of you taken a picture of what it looks like when it's messed up?

I agree and I would not want them anyway. I want less on my Mustang not more. I hope the new Mach 1 that I have heard about is all business and none of the frills...

I like it personally. If it is going to be all business, they need to have the right look, right suspension setup, a non-chinese-made transmission, a dependable and modable motor, and an interior with some quality materials for the same or comparable prices as now.

I keep hearing about the interior materials? I have no problem with the materials in my 12 what do people want? Cherry wood and lace? Do the V6's have different interiors? I don't know mine seems nice...They can't put anymore into it for the same price that is foolish. A Mustang is a lot of car for the money. 40k is nothing anymore with inflation nowadays. What do you mean about moddable motor? What is not moddable? I also think it's pretty dependable for a 420+ HP motor! And I'm not impressed with the little pony lights nor do I care to air condition my bunghole either! I don't need that stuff in a sports car.

Judging by the perceived taste of a raw sports car, you should simply get a used ap1 (1st gen s2000) and do an lsx swap from importmuscle.com and call it a day. No a/c in your butthole there.

I don't think you're understanding me. Some of those things the car may not have now, while some things it does; however, I was just listing the things I think would make it perfect (much of which it has). In the same token, I have owned 28 cars and 3 crotch rockets in my 32 years of age and the interior isn't the top of the 0-38k dollar price range, just saying. It isn't bad though to me and I like it more than most.

You should get an ap1 (1st gen s2000) and add an lsx swap from importmuscle.com if you want the raw sports car thrill for less than what we pay for our 5.0's. That would give you all the thrills without the frills.

I'm just not interested in any of the imports they all look bland and similar. Also my Mustang is not a daily driver and when I get behind the wheel it is an escape and I enjoy the musclecar feel. I don't want sync, heated seats, and all the other BS. I want a V8, manual transmission, and a race car feel, in fact if not for the s197 styling I probably would have a classic car instead. To me the new 2015 is geared toward the daily driver. I don't have the urge to put one in my garage it reminds me of a Fusion. Most of the people I know are not using their s197 as a daily driver and don't want the typical trappings of one. Maybe when the specialty models come out i may change my mind. The crowd who wanted refinement Ford has given them that. Now let's see how many they buy.

Both of mine were just replaced under warranty. The tech showed me one and it looks like maybe a single unit that includes the bulb. I wish I'd asked for the old ones so I could have a better look.

I hope Ford takes the money for the warranty repairs on these lights out of the bonus of whichever designer came up with the idea!!

I bought my 2014 new off the lot last July. I didn't know what options it had, but I knew I didn't want a 2015! Turns out I really like heated seats and pony lights. I have grandchildren and if the image is clear they should be able to see it in the palm of their hand up under the side mirrors.

Ya my passenger side looks like that, only a bit worse. Guess I'll take it in soon. I only handwash the car as well. It stays in the garage but I do daily drive it so it does see rain.

Yeah I notice AM got some overlays for them, $29 for 1 square inch of colored vinyl tint. I ordered a 30ft roll off EBay for $1.98. Lol
