2014 convertible gt - rear spring replacement without sub brace removal??

Anyone replace their rear spring on a vert without removing the sub brace? I think I read once you can lower the axle rest on the brace and then jack up the opposite side of the axle, then replace the spring on the other side. One bolt on my sub brace is really torqued on and I don't want to strip it. Before I take it to the dealer I was wondering if anyone has tried this and did it work out? Thanks! Btw , front springs were simple install...Eibach Pro's

Never heard of this before. I replaced all springs, sway bars, and shock on mine. You can get a breaker bar to remove. If you are not sure just take to the dealer. Good luck with the rest of your install.

We do it with a good floor jack and jack stands. Jack the car up, put it on jack stands, support the rear axle with the floor jack, remove the sway bar hangers, shock and then the spring comes right out.
If your not sure what you are doing, be carefule. A loaded spring can come out like a rocket if you bind it up and do some serious damage to you or your car.

+1 that's how you Get'er done LOL. I bought the kit from blow by racing and it gave me a one inch drop. Don't forget to use the blue thread locker keep all in place.
