Yes if you have the money and want top end power

No if you don't have the money and want top end power

Yes if you have the money and can deal with a small low end torque loss

No if you don't have the money and... [more factors to be found on a google search]

Said this b4 plenty of times. And im sure everyone is going to put there opinion in again. Bc they no all. If you are not going to spin it to at least 7600 there is no need for it. Unless you want it for looks alone

Rapernator is right. The higher u spin it the more advantage in power u get from this mode because power starts declining on the stock IM starting at 6500RPM+

If you spin it to only 7000 then u probably gain 10hp at 7000rpm over the stock IM. I don't remember the exact.

After putting mine on I think I prefer the stock IM cuz I don't spin the motor to 7600 much at all

Alot of people prefer the stock mani over the boss. Back to back testing with identical cars the stock mani proved to be faster at the track. The cobra jet is the toss up between them both. I personally use the boss

a big determinant is what gears you have on your car as well. Mine has 410 gears and the Boss 302 intake loves gears. If you have 315's or 331's, you probably won't appreciate the Boss 302 intake as much...

Totally opposite from that. You want a higher gear so you can utilize the boss intake and rev out the motor ans hold each gear like the coyote likes. There is another reason why all the fastest coyotes run 3.31's

It all depends on what you do with your car. If you are a 1/4 guy, the Boss IM may not be for you, but if you are running a 3:73 rear end, you will feel the IM kick in at 5500 and continue through 7500+ . If you are a dyno queen that all you care about are numbers on a sheet of paper, no, its not for you. Its a great power adder that you will feel with the butt-dyno and an awesome upgrade for a daily driver that wants more performance. With a good tune, you will notice a substantial difference in feel from the stock IM. There is a whole lot more to a good tune than just peak top end numbers. A really good tune will perform working its way up through WOT.

It's not for everybody, since u have to rev way up there at least over 6500-7500k to benefit from it. Many would say u lose TQ from it, I have 3.73 which makes me not even feel the loss. Plus it looks effing awesome!! And I do feel power from it, no doubt since it's my weekend warrior and I tend to miss being the behind the wheel of a V8. We've been having a ROUGH winter this year to say the least, so mine hasn't seen the light of day in a while :-/Click image for larger version

I have 4.10's, so mine's still torque-ee as hell too.
