Here is a link to find module programming codes:

As Built Request - 1ZVBP8CF6D5257592

HOW THIS WORKS FOR YOUR CODES = once you click and open this link = you will now be at the module programming codes for a mustang with the VIN 1ZVBP8CF6D5257592. NOW to get the codes YOU want, get a VIN # of a Mustang that has everything that you want/need. ON THE ADDRESS BAR, replace the VIN with the VIN you want to use and > ENTER = now the page will have the VIN you entered with the corresponding module programming codes.

Yes, the VCMII with IDS will allow you to change your ABS module ASBUILT codes. Do you need to change your ABS module too? (if you have a 11/12) you will need to change out the back of the ABS module too if you want Track Apps.
Seeing you have an '11, you really should read the entire post on the Mustang Source site that the guys with the older mustangs did adding the cluster. It is a LOT more involved on the 11/12s. If you have an auto, IMHO it is more work than worth.

I think DeerSlayer is out...slaying deer. If you PM him and throw him some $ for his time he might be willing to help. Other than that..your best option is to reach out to some local mustang clubs. That is where I finally found someone that has the VCMII... Plus they have done it before, so it makes it easy. I do not thing the VCM can reset mileage so you will need to find someone that can do that. Ford can do it, you are just talking to a paper pusher..if you ask to talk to a mechanic when you are there, they can easily do it.

I am back from sitting in trees in 11 degree Kansas. My fingers and toes are still numb

Kona, I am in ATX and can help you. I have a VCMII, so you wont need that. You will need a 4.2"LCD cluster
2013 ABS Module
4-way LH Steering wheel switch
From there, we can do the install pretty easy and quick. You need to know, that it would require to flash your PCM with the VCMII to 2013 callibrations. You will need two sets of keys for your car as well so that we can complete the PATS. **this is all if you have a standard trans** If you have an auto, it is too much work IMHO. For autos, it takes some extra work for your select shift to operate properly which is a LOT more work with your shifter and such. Manuals are not a problem tho. I wont charge you anything. Just get the parts and I will help you do the install.

So I have a few questions about this swap. If I buy a used cluster, who can/will change the mileage to my current mileage?

Which vcmII tool do I need?

I have a base 2013 with the track pack.

Thanks.

I searched for a 2 months and got my cluster on eBay for 179.00. Just set up a search and notification. Www.odo-pro.com just did my mileage sync... Pack it really well... Was $89.00 plus $11.00 to ship it. I shipped it out last Friday anid got it back yesterday. You need the VCM II with IDS software.. I just asked around a few local mustang clubs and found a guy (old ford tech) that did it for me yesterday. In my opinion...worth every bit of $ and time.

Re the ebay finds, I get the notifications of the listing but they are almost always the base ones that come up - the one track type I saw was in Kms - not going to work for the States -
Maybe I'm searching wrong?

They normally are...but every once in awhile you see a premium one. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...966417&alt=web
Here is the listing of the one I got. It popped up with a buy it now...and I jumped on it. I looked for about a month or two.

I still have not bought a cluster yet. Too many other things to pay for in the last few months and right now as well. I have had no luck finding a used one. I have everything I need except the cluster. Hopefully at some point I can get this done.

Yes, when you do PATS for your keys, the Red Key is always noticed by the cluster as the Track Key.

As long as a used cluster is from a 13/14 premium/track app car, it doesn't matter if it's an auto or stick or V6 car right? I know it would have to get the mileage corrected....

Correct, doesn't matter at all. The clusters are the same part, only module programming determines what will be viewed
