Anyone tested the Neutral rev limiter 2step?

On your bama sct it has a option to set your rpm neutral rev limit basicly a 2step..

I set it at 2800 and it worked well I never had a chance to test it at a track I did it on the street and I **** my self how loud my car was lol so I got out of it real quick, the car just bogged at a low rpm with 19 inch rims.

So my question has anyone ever tested this at the track?

I have! The Rev Limiter is exactly like a 2-Step. It works great at the track. Once you figure out what your car likes to launch at, set it and hold on! I set mine to 4,500 since I was launching on Slicks and it worked out pretty well. On a hot day I would still bog a bit, need more RPM!

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future!

Okay it's seriously not like a real 2step..... sorry but it's not.

It's the equivalent to a well made pair of knock off shoes with like the logo messed up.

It can lock ur rev limiter at what you choose but it won't hold it very accurate. Since its not cutting ignition like a 2step would it bounces the rpm. Say you want it at 4500.....it's gna be hitting 4500 then bounce to 4200 then go to 4500 and will do so till u launch.

Essentially it's a poor man's 2step. It's great for a beginner or someone saving for a real 2step. Try it out on a strategy tune it's easy. I have a separate tune for it but rarely use it as I can honestly keep the rpm where I want it with my foot.

Not sure where you're coming from Charlie. The poor men I've volunteered with at our local non-profit organizations have never owned a late model Mustang, let alone a Bama tuner. They're usually happy just to get a sandwich for the day or a pair of shoes on their feet.

How would you launch with this set on an auto, since it is a neutral setting.
Who wants to be the first to floor it in neutral and then throw it in drive?

Ignore him... He's seriously one of the biggest trolls on this site IMO. He's never posted anything remotely helpful or positive, all he does is bash people and make them feel stupid. Why post anything if you're not helping anyone?... -End rant.

Charlie Santos is correct in a sense that it is not your traditional 2 step. It doesn't stay perfectly steady at the rpm, but it also doesn't bounce around as much as he said. I got one at 3k for my car a while back. Here is a walk around video of my car where i also showed the 2 step. Skip to 4:40 for the 2 step
