Am I the only one who wants the 2011 taillights on my 2013?

Does anyone know if i can swap when it comes to fit? I think I am the only person on the planet but I like the 2011 taillights I had on it better than the 2013

They might be a hair to big. I saw a guy on here do the 13's in his 11 and there were small gaps on the bottom corners of each lens

One of the reason why i traded my 05 because of the 13's taillights and youre changing them? I think to each there own but mannn i love those 13's back..

To switch to the 11-12 tail lights the right way you would have to do a whole rear end swap because the bottom of the 13 tail lights its straight and the 11-12 have a little bend. So without switching the bumper and everything else out the taillights are too big to fit with your factory rear end.

I would be more than happy to trade taillights with you if they could easily swap lol. I love the 13 taillights

I support the underdog here: The 11-12 tailights look great on my Red Candy car and the 13s have two issues for me. 1. They are led and that means big hassle if some or all burn out, down the road, which is very common. and 2. the 13s are the automotive equivalent of kitschy tinsel on the car. They are a bit overwrought, In my opinion.

You two could trade lights and bumpers and I think you'd be okay. Other than the wiring. That's probably a *****.

You make a good point about the hassle with led lights. Thats why I like the alternative I'm taking with doing the 13 styled decals for the 11-12 taillights and also using trim to make it a more completed look. I'm excited to get them on but its been too cold to do it outside and I haven't been able to get it to my buddies shop. Soon enough though!

Maybe but I'm already doing my own mods to them so it's not worth the trouble. Plus naples is quite a way from northern va haha

Someone on here posted one that was swapped. I do not remember who though. I think it was a '12 and they swapped the rear end to a '13.

Yes, but there is a small gap present since the '11's lights are larger.

Yeah but there is a gap from the lights to the bumper so theres an unfinished look to it.

I hate you. Lol
What I would give for just one.
To respond to the other person, its really not worth it. Just imbrace the old style and save money for better mods.

Probably, I drive down it all the time. Work near livingston and GG PWY and live off Vandy and 951. Give a Nod to all the nice Stangs in Town. Send a pic to me or post of your so I know who you are when we pass. Doing a bunch of my Mods in February so lmk if you know of any Mustang groups or get togethers in town. BTW, for what its worth may be at Bukampers for big game on Sunday!

I dont know of any Mustang get togethers here, there are some in Ft. Myers but im not driving up there for that. There is a "Cars n Coffee" on Sundays on Pine Ridge. I may go to that not this Sunday but next.

What mods are ya doing? I havent did anything to my Mustang except added the 3D Carbon GT500 Rear Spoiler and im wanting the Roush Hood Scoop but AM doesnt carry it yet but I think they may in a month or so from what ive been told. And the only other thing I would like to do is get some GT500 Axle Backs but maybe not until this Spring...

Here is a photo of my 5.0, this was taken at the Target parking lot on Immokelee....Keep in touch.
