Question Exhaust help

Im looking to make my roush axelback exhaust louder, I was looking at adding a catted xpipe, but I cant get a shorty xpipe because longtubes are illegal in my state and the only standard length catted xpipe i can find is a magnaflow one for $700 but I cant find any reviews or videos on it.

What can I add to make my exhaust louder? Should I get that catted xpipe? Something else?

(Please do not suggest off-road xpipes because I would like to pass emissions)

Are the emissions testing a yearly thing?

I am looking to get my Ford Racing axle back louder. Going to do the over axle pipe, deletes the resonators. About $350.

You can buy cat deletes and run them and swap it out when it's times for the testing. Or easier would be to buy a O/R mid pipe and swap the whole mid pipe.

I put a steeda high flow x on mine and it definitely got louder. I have roush ABs as well.
You can also have the resonators cut out, but IMO it sounds like crap with the roush. Incredibly raspy.
Keep in mind if you get a high flow x you WILL need a tune.
