Steeda Adjustable UCA/Mount HELP!!!

For those that installed the Steeda adjustable UCA WITH the Steeda chassis mount did you use the stepped spacers with the new UCA and mount? What about the small stepped spacers?

There is debate on this throughout the forums so i'm trying to see who here has installed with or without the spacers. Steeda is closed for the weekend.

I am going to install this setup tomorrow. I greased and preinstalled the arm in the mount today with the spacers. It doesn't make sense not to use them otherwise there will be a gap on each side of the poly bushings in the mount.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I believe the spacers are for 11-14 vehicles for the purpose you mentioned. 05-10 vehicles don't need the spacers. I would use them.

Thanks, yeah I used the spacers. The instructions for the mount say to. Installed today no issues. There are guys out there that didn't use them because they claim Steeda said not to. I went with what made sense.

I think it depends on whether your using the stock mount or if you got the their mount. Do you have any added nvh now?

the spacers are definitely for the stock mount but also for the Steeda mount. I switched from a Steeda nonadjustable uca and stock mount to this new setup. absolutely no added nvh. it is actually less noisey. less clunking and I was able to get my pinion angle just right.

I haven't had much experience with the install of this part. I have an email into our installation dept. and I will have an answer for you soon.

If we indicated it in the instructions ... good chance you should have used them.

Best Regards,

TJ
