12 GT Probs

I cant quite pin the problem i am having currently with my mustang. Whenever I let go of the gas pedal to like slow down, as the rpms go down the car will feel like its half braking and the engine sound kinda drops to a lower roar than what it should sound like. It does not feel natural at all. Im not sure if this is also contributing to the problem but so far it has "stalled" out in neutral coming up to stop signs and what not. It like the rpms never idled down correctly. Now the stalling out part has happened 3 times over a 3 week period. Other than that no problems other than my horrible gas milage. Brand new to the car deal. Ill appreciate all help.

My stock 6 speed manual when down shifting would hardly slow the car down. Now I have a ford racing tune and it slows the car down like it should but when I get to a complete stop the rpms linger around 1000 for about 5 seconds then drops to normal, Is that what you are referring too? Gas mileage in mine is around 14-15 city and if I drive around 60 mph I break into the low 20s. My dad works about 30 miles from home and could get a little above 26mpg if drove right.

yes that is close to what I am talking about. The RPMS will linger and the engine gives a low rumble throughout multiple areas like at 2500 and 2000 and so forth. those numbers are not accurate just an figure. the car pulls some and then goes back to normal. I call the bama tuning guys to see if it was a tuning prob
