Hey,

Congratulations on your new tuner! I'm sure once you have it installed you will love it.

SCT made the process of getting the tunes from the tuner to the car quite user friendly. Follow these steps.

1. Plug the tuner into the OBD2 port between the steering column and hood release latch underneath the dash. (It will be a trapezoid shape exactly like the plug on the end of the tuner)

2. The tuner's screen will light up and take you to the main screen. Here you may have to scroll through the options, but you will want to select Program Vehicle.

3. From here it will give you several tune options, the one you will want to select is Custom Tune.

4. From here you will get a disclaimer and upon accepting the disclaimer the tuner will ask you to turn the key to the on position without starting the engine.

5. Then the tuner will ask you to turn the key off again and you will want press accept. From here this will take you to your Bama custom tunes. Select the tune you want to use.

6. The Tuner will ask you again to turn the key on without turning the engine on. Press accept once you have done that, and the tuner will ask you to begin to download on the car, click select and the tune will start to download.

7. Once the download is complete, the tuner will ask you to turn off the key, and press select. At this point the tune is complete.

If you ever want to change your tune you will also follow these exact steps.

I hope this helps, and if you have any other questions or concerns feel free to get in touch with myself or Bama directly. Good luck and enjoy your new tunes!

-Dan

hey,

I think I accidently assumed you bought it from us because I saw our name in one of the prior comments. I fear you may have blank tuner with no custom tunes on it.

If you did get it from us and tuner is blank you wont need to return, we can just email you tunes and you will be able to take them from your email to your tuner with the provided USB cable, and eventually to the car. If this is the case you will want to call Bama and they will get you squared away and walk you through the process.

If you didn't get it from us we can still get you Bama tunes, but there would be a one time $150 tunes for life buy in. However, a lot of companies offer tuning services so if you got it from someone else they may have a similar program included in the purchase of the tuner.

Once again I apologize for the confusion and hopefully this helps you a little more. Please let me know if I can offer any more assistance.

-Dan

My God don't touch anything on the car. You seem to need to do a lot more research before you plug anything in.

He's probably using the canned SCT tune which has been known to be unsafe.

Ok, I'm gonna take it slow here:

1. You've wasted money on the useless SCT strategy tune and your tuner.

2. You could have bought a tuner from a reputable vendor that came pre loaded with a better tune, like Steeda, VMP, etc.

3. Now I would advise you to seek one of these companies and have them sell you a tune that will have much better results.

4. Next time do some reading before tossing the credit card down.

You've been warned the SCT canned tune is overly aggressive with the timing.
