traction control question

If you go to the track do you have to turn off the traction control every time you restart the car?

Yes, there is also a sport advantrac mode if you put your foot on the brake and double tap the tc button.

I keep TC and adv Stabilatrak off unless its raining. If you are a good, experienced driver, you will appreciate your car more with it off. If you are concerned about spinning out or if you are not as experienced, I'd keep it on. I like to refer to it as kicking the nanny out of the passenger seat! Just my 2c for what it's worth...

Mine always kicks in and applies the brakes for me when I make spirited turns but I'm still to much of a puss to keep it off all the time because I think it may have saved me a few times already. I'm not close to being an experienced manual transmission driver yet.

It can also be turned off in a tune permanently.
