Pics of painted Brembo Calipers?

Hey guys, was wondering if any one had any pics they could post of their factory Brembo calipers painted (preferably in red). I usually paint all my cars calipers but not sure how it would look on the stang.

Thanks

Black with red....I used engine paint , ebay stickers and clear coat over the red sticker. Over a year and holding up well. Not a DD.

Oh wow! Yea I'm sold. Nice pics guys.

Are you guys just painting over the factory gray paint that comes on the caliper or are you blasting them down then maybe a primer and top coat? Is that even necessary?

I like the factory gunmetal as it is really easy to keep clean. My car is DD, summer and winter so, shiny, bright caliper paint is going to look like rat**** pretty quick.

I was thinking the same but I was told by different sources that the actual material works as good as primer. As long as u clean the hell out of it, the paint should bid nicely. I'm using VHT caliper cleaner which is SUPER concentrated (more than brake cleaner).

Started the 1st phase of paint, VHT red caliper paint, had to use about 6 coats since I didnt use primer for full coverage. The 1st 3 coats were very light, the the next couple got heavies, hopefully I can put the stickers and clear it next week Click image for larger version

I used grabber green engine paint and clear coat made for wheels. I did clear over the decals. So far they're holding up.

Finally finished, did 5 coats of base coat last week. Just added the stickers and did 4 coats of clear. I'm pretty happy with it, can't wait to install them

What chin splitter is that on your car... Looks great! Love the blck/white contrast. I have the same spoiler. My car is sterling grey. What color do you recommend for stripes on mine?
