The Paxton may be the way to go and it's much cheaper. Go on SVT Performance and you'll have pages of info.

Why would you go with Paxton instead of the new procharger I-1?

Because the I-1 is an overcomplicated answer to a question no one is asking. A variable speed blower on a ground based street car? Really?

This isn't a P-51 Mustang, needing a multi-stage blower to maintain performance at altitude.

I'm sure the I-1 is neat with electronic control but, you are imprisoned by their tuning and the Paxton delivers way more than the car can realistically put down anyway. Don't over-egg the pudding on something that's really not complicated.

Procharger regular blower is neat in that the install is no cut on anything, if you stay with their introductory level setup.

There's a reason why Paxton outsells Procharger by a good 20:1.

Same answer, great package. HU is a little smaller A/R on the Vortech, so, less headroom if you're wanting to head for 1000 HP.

Cheaper doesn't always mean better if I am gonna throw down some quality products in my 42000 dollar car I want the best not cheaper. With that being said I'm looking at making the most horsepower that can be made out of these coyotes and have more room for improvement because I know the sky is the limit once you mess with some components of the engine lol

There is no quality differential here between PC, Paxton, Vortech. It comes down to volume of sales. Selling 10 of one thing to one of another means a bit thinner margin is fine.

Paxton has always made a quality product, regardless of what it's for. I would buy one of their packages in a heartbeat if I was inclined that way. I loved the Paxton I had on my old 5.0 pushrod, and my other friends who used their stuff had similar results.

Hellion, otoh, has had a bit of a hit and miss reputation for quality, if the web reportage is any indication. Might be able to make that case if you were talking Armageddon turbo but, not sure you can for Hellion.

I've been running Paxton's base complete kit for almost 2 years, loving it! JPC has some good ready To go kits that I wish were out when I was in the market. Check out their Paxton street fighter kit.

Also checkout their competition kit at the bottom of the page in case you decide to higher HPs.
