Royal Purple vs Amsoil, and what's synchromesh?

The title sums up my questions pretty well.
I currently have 1,200 miles on my 2014 Mustang GT (manual).

1. I was debating between Full Synthetic Royal Purple versus Amsoil 5w-20 (cap recommended).

2. Then I looked up manual transmission oil and see Synchomesh (5w-30) and other special manual oils, another example is Transaxle Gear Lube 75w-90.
Should I be using special manual oil like Synchomesh or should I stick the regualr oil?

Oil I was going to buy Royal Purple SAE 5W-20 or same but in Amsoil
